Customs illegal Import Export Data

We are pioneer database vendor based in Mumbai, India. Today our business is ruined because of illegal Import-Export data. No one like to go for legal data when there is easy availability of data, having company names in the market.

We would like to highlight trade of customs department’s illegal/illicit Import Export data. This data is available easily, not only with Indian Database vendors but also with almost all China database vendors. Since this data is available for all India, so it is assumed that it is done by Customs officials with the help of NIC (Nodal agency responsible for maintaining Customs database). Entire trade is suffering because of their business leaks. Exporters, Importers doing business for decades losing business to comparatively new-comers, because their overseas party’s details are exposed.

Customs department release legal Import Export Data which is in public domain. This data do not expose company names. But, illegal data contains prohibited company names (Indian and overseas), because of that it is very much in demand. Silence from trade bodies are understandable, because they are customers of this data. But at the same time they are the one losing their business.  It is also surprising, why intelligence agencies are not doing anything. This illicit trade is going on for several years.

Our national security is at stake, because database vendors of India and overseas countries like China are buying this illegal data regularly. Under Information Technology Act there are stringent provisions for government theft data.

We also appeal to Trade bodies of India, do not put real party’s name/address in your documents because, your data will go to your competitors immediately.
